At our monthly event for members only, the Online Family Brunch, we had another round of curated ‘Breakout Rooms’ and in one of these discussion groups it was suggested by some of the members to have another meeting just for that purpose (time is never enough, so it seems!). Well, we heard you and we facilitated an EXTRA session for anyone interested in the topic: Art Residencies and Cultural Events.
It happened Friday 28th January and we gathered 23 members from all over Europe, including representatives of Lottozero, MOB, UPTEC, Artcor, C-Cube, Comincenter, BASE Milano, ANDA Cowork, Moktamee, Fix in Art, Culture Hub Croatia / Prostor, Creative Spark, Boom! Studios, CRU Creative Hub and also from the ECHN team – they exchanged and met their peers in the same areas of work.
The idea was to share experiences in creative residencies’ management, discuss how to organise events during pandemics time and create opportunities of collaborations among members.
The discussions ranged from NFTs to risk management, goals, duration, community engagement, outcomes and impact measurement opportunities, funding and participation fees, residencies in rural areas, local impact, threats and solutions and also collaboration opportunities.
