Last month we gathered again for our Online Family Brunch! Another round of our monthly event exclusive to ECHN members. It’s our moment to catch up, share and inspire. We’ve started new discussion rooms where our members could connect based on their shared interests, ranging from art residencies & events, coworking & community activation, cultural heritage, education & training to innovation & tech!
We are all different and so should be our discussion spaces.
HUB SPOTLIGHT
On the last Hub Spotlight we hosted Rosie O’Grady, from Many Studios (Glasgow, UK) who shared with us the work they do with local creatives in their studios and also told us all about their new venture on taking an old train station to transform into a new creative hub!
Here’s a little something about them:
Many Studios is an independent organisation based in Glasgow (UK), creating projects that respond to unique contexts with a focus on creativity and community conversations. Our Creative Hub provides 35 workspaces for a community of 60+ creatives, from visual artists and designers to writers and engineers.
We’re currently exploring opportunities for the future use of a new site, Cumberland Street Station, with the ambition of developing an industrious work and presentation space to support emerging forms of cultural, environmental and social enterprise.Curious to see more? Pay them a visit if you’re around or just check their website and the new Cumberland Street Station project!
