Odyssea is a non-profit organisation based in Athens, Greece, founded in 2016 with the mission of empowering vulnerable populations by equipping them with the skills, confidence, and opportunities needed to access meaningful employment and actively participate in society. Through a holistic and inclusive model, Odyssea delivers free vocational training, life-skills education, and employability services, ensuring equal access for both host and refugee or migrant communities. Its core infrastructure includes the Odyssea Academy in Athens—featuring fully equipped, real-life training environments across multiple technical sectors—the Youth Center in Thessaloniki, and the Athens Job Center, which provides personalised career counselling and job-matching through an extensive employer network.
Since its establishment, Odyssea has supported more than 11,000 beneficiaries through hundreds of certified training courses and thousands of employability services, achieving strong employment outcomes and fostering sustainable social inclusion. By integrating digital innovation, data-driven monitoring, entrepreneurship support, and community outreach initiatives, Odyssea contributes actively to workforce integration, youth empowerment, and inclusive economic development in Greece.
