Last month we met in Barcelona for CENTRINNO’s Consortium Meeting!

ECHN has joined the third consortium meeting of the CENTRINNO project in Barcelona.
Hosted by Fab Lab Barcelona, Poblenou Urban District and CatalunyaFP, the 26 partners have gathered once more to touch base and co-design new strategies for the project.

CENTRINNO is a research project focused on industrial historical sites under transformation. Nine pilot cities across Europe are working to set up a Fab City Hub, a new model for cultural production and urban manufacturing.

This time around, a bigger emphasis was put on the pilots’ exchanges, co-design and mutual inspiration. Within a 3-days intense agenda, the consortium delved into the topics of sustainability, inclusion, heritage and vocational training in the frame of the Poblenou district in Barcelona, one of the nine CENTRINNO pilots for urban regeneration.

ECHN is excited to see how the future Fab City Hubs will take shape and to contribute to the final governance model for the project!
