Pueblos Remotos is an initiative that fosters experiences that connect remote workers and local entrepreneurs to generate real impact in rural areas. At the intersection between the new economy, sustainable tourism, digitization and entrepreneurship, we believe there is a new path: the connected rurality.
With this current reality, and with everything that has happened as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have once again looked towards the rural environment, have wanted to connect with their roots or simply start a new lifestyle outside of the big cities.
The connection with the rural areas goes far beyond remote work, it is a new philosophy that values the culture and traditions of the environment as well as the possibilities offered by digital jobs. At the same time, there is also the opportunity to revitalize these places thanks to remote workers, or digital nomads, who contribute their knowledge, their time and their money, to generate a positive impact within them.
