Cultural and creative organizations are undergoing a profound transformation, shaped by social change, digitalization, declining public trust, commercialization, and the pressures of unsustainable development. This raises an essential question: how can we redefine these organizations and strengthen their social role within their communities?
In collaboration with the GLAMMONS project, ECHN hub members were invited to an online workshop to explore new, commons-based models of cultural management, grounded in openness, power-sharing, and collective responsibility.
The workshop introduced tools for participatory governance, inclusive collaboration, and sustainable financing models, offering both conceptual insights and practical guidance for implementation.
