The BauTopia 3 Hubs Meetup presented creative hubs as dynamic spaces where local knowledge and global challenges meet, helping communities facing displacement or marginalisation shape their futures. These hubs act as civic infrastructures that promote cultural democracy, social cohesion, and ecological responsibility.
Despite often being underfunded and fragile, creative hubs continue to support experimentation, inclusive practices, and collaborative approaches to sustainability. Overall, they function as relational ecosystems that foster shared visions, new forms of social organisation, and long-term cultural change.
The conference was organised by the European Creative Hubs Network in collaboration with FABER and F O R in Timisoara.
