The workshop "Making Spaces" took place from 27–30 November 2023 and was hosted by The Making Rooms in Blackburn. It delivered a series of practical activities and lectures for hub managers interested in implementing or developing a makerspace within their own hub. The toolkit produced introduced ideas around creative technologies, themes, tools, machines, and software that support hands-on innovation and collaborative making.
By the end, users will have a clearer understanding of how makerspaces can support creativity, learning, and community building, along with practical starting points they can adapt to their own scale and environment.
