The June 2026 edition of the ECHN Family Brunch takes us to the picturesque hills of the Styria region in the Austrian countryside, where we’ll get to know FARMLAB, the rural creative hub featured in this month’s traditional Hub Spotlight, a place where sustainability meets innovation, and sheep meet 3D printers.
This month, our regular online community meetup, will also focus on some new developments and opportunities inside the European Creative Hubs Network itself.
We will talk about ECHN’s revamped Thematic Clusters, a new way to get engaged with the network, and your imminent peers working in complementary sectors. Find out how you’ll be able to connect over brand new projects or funding opportunities, while at the same time being able to get support for day-to-day challenges - just when you need it.
We will also present the initial ideas around this year’s, the seventh BAUTOPIA annual gathering of our community, scheduled for October 7-9 in Athens, Greece. But it is not just about presenting - we want to hear your ideas and receive proposals for your program contributions during June! More details on how to do that when we meet!
We’ll also talk about new formats and topics you would like to see in our online and physical events in the future.
Last but not least, we will enjoy getting to know another member of our hub family, as part of our regular Hub Spotlight. After the quiet Austrian backcountry, we’ll take a short trip to one of Europe’s most dynamic metropoles to meet C*SPACE Berlin, as part of June’s Hub Appetizer, the same haute-cuisine content, served in a more compact format.
