Transforming Education to Spark Innovation in the CCIs: CreaTech Phase 2 is Underway!

As a partner in the CreaTech project, we are working to bridge the gap between higher education and the professional creative sector by fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and hands-on experience within the Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs). We are excited to share that we have entered Phase 2, shifting the project from research and testing into direct action.

To support this transition from education to industry leadership, we are focusing on three core pillars:

• Capacity-Building Programme: Providing academic and non-academic staff with practical tools to foster entrepreneurial mindsets, develop innovation-oriented curricula, and support emerging creative ventures.
• Knowledge Labs: These interactive, collaborative spaces serve as a bridge between students and professionals, allowing for the co-creation of ideas and the testing of new entrepreneurial models in real-world scenarios.
• Start-Up Booster Programme: CreaTech is launching an acceleration phase to provide emerging cultural start-ups with the mentorship, business training, and networking opportunities necessary to turn creative concepts into sustainable enterprises.

By integrating these activities and putting practical know-how into the hands of students and educators alike, CreaTech is working to bridge the gap between learning and doing!
