Following numerous smaller-scale publications that follow and build upon ECHN's activities and events, this year we have set an entirely new challenge for ourselves - to edit and publish our first ever proper book release.
The Creative Hubs Atlas will feature almost 100 creative hubs from across Europe, in a high-end hardcover printed edition, spanning more than 500 pages and featuring an even greater number of high-quality photographs - altogether showcasing the amazing spaces, communities and activities that are part of Europe's creative hubs ecosystem.
At the same time an engaging read putting the creative hubs into critical context, and sharing numerous stories and profiles of the featured hubs, it will serve as a compelling photo book, showcasing the diverse formats and approaches that are the features of creative hubs across our continent. From rural colivings, over coworking spaces, fablabs, multifunctional makerspaces or new forms of artistic residencies, all the way to large-scale creative centers in major European cities, sometime spanning thousands of square meters enabling creation and artistic collaboration in all of its forms.
We aim to launch the book at this year's, seventh edition of our annual BAUTOPIA event, between October 7th and 9th, in Athens, Greece. Make sure to attend, and be among the first ones to check it out. You've been warned - there will be no digital version available!
