Leigh Works is an entrepreneurial hub and tech start-up space based in the centre of Leigh, formed in 2019. In addition to office space, we offer advice and mentorship to businesses as well as work placements for college students. In the last 2 years, despite COVID, Leigh Works has helped set-up numerous new businesses, create jobs and provide training to local people. As well as desk space, we have all kinds of tools and resources available to our members. A wood and metal workshop, electronics lab, laser cutting, 3D printing, photography and AV equipment, and even a photography dark room. By collaborating with Wigan & Leigh College, Wigan Council, GMCA and other organisations we have an entire ecosystem to support the generation of new talent and businesses under one roof. Many of the businesses based here regularly collaborate on projects and share their knowledge and experience. We provide the ideal environment for new businesses and entrepreneurs to prosper and students to gain experience.
