As part of the Fab City Association Hamburg House of All is running the lab as cooperation partner. The lab is centrally located and houses a workshop which is currently being equipped with several digitally driven machines as well as industrial sewing machines and (partly hacked) knitting machines. We offer memberships and low threshold open days as well as 3 residencies for people who wish to research and develop their own sustainability in textiles projects. There is a big showroom for exhibitions and popup opportunities by local (or international) designers. An educational program is also underway adressing the issues of sustainable textiles in a holistic way. Attached to the lab is also a R&D project with the aim to establish a local distributed fabrication network aligned with the Fab City values. We are due to become a Fabricademy node. Our open days are Wednesdays 12- 8pm and Thursdays 10-6pm.
