program for membersechn events

The next ECHN Workshop is happening in Sende (Spain) - find all the details here!

We're excited to announce the dates of our next ECHN Workshop!

From 2-7 February 2026, participants will be able to join the Sende team in their  workshop ‘Low Tech Communication from the Village’.

Location: Senderiz, Galicia, Spain

Title: Low-Tech Communication - From the Village for Creative Hubs

Description:

This workshop explores how to use low-tech communication methods to tell the world that our creative hubs exist.

Through hands-on activities using everyday materials and digital tools, participants will discover how to produce original content and build strong narratives without relying on traditional marketing approaches or trends.

A 4-day workshop in Sende on how creative hubs can communicate creatively by using pen and paper, phones, zip ties, simple microphones, and improvised wall mounts.

A lot of us in creative hubs do not like the word “marketing,” but at the same time, we have to tell the world that we exist in order to survive. Sende has developed a particular method of communication where we are constantly publishing different pieces of content without having a content calendar, marketing person, KPIs, metrics, or benchmarks. Sende has found an easy way to share everything it does — a way where communication is not perceived as hard work at all.

During these days on our mountain, we will deliver highly effective workshops on communication without constantly sitting in front of the projector.

Participants will learn about 20 different methods for producing original content while doing what they love. We will show how the production of content is always secondary, yet they will end up with excellent material produced.

We will build games in the tool workshop with textiles, Arduinos, and carpentry tools. We will cook together, hike, do animal trekking, make art, and live together while learning about different ways of communicating in every single activity.

We understand that small spaces like Sende, hidden in the mountains, have to become very, very good at communicating what they do. This is the same reason why we are fully booked for years, and why our cultural events like Bosquexo sell out in a matter of seconds.

The full program will be disclosed soon, when the applications open! Stay tuned.
