Treballu Hub is a rural coliving and coworking space based in Laconi, a small village in the heart of Sardinia (Italy). Founded in 2019, Treballu is a community-centered platform fostering creative practices, youth participation, and social innovation in marginalised and depopulated rural areas.
Through the activation of shared spaces, transnational projects, and local partnerships, Treballu supports regeneration, civic engagement, and capacity building processes, empowering communities and individuals to co-create sustainable futures in rural contexts.
As an active participant in the Erasmus+ programme, Treballu develops and hosts international youth exchanges, training courses, and strategic partnerships that promote environmental awareness, intercultural dialogue, and the use of art as a tool for community engagement.
One of its flagship initiatives is Ammonte, a public-private partnership with the Municipality of Laconi aiming to repurpose the former civic market into a multifunctional rural creative space — a commons that will host educational activities, artistic residencies, and participatory design processes with the local community.

By bridging the gap between digital and rural, local and international, Treballu contributes to a broader movement that reclaims rurality as a fertile ground for experimentation, belonging, and transformation.
